SberCity: Change the Season, Keep the City
Two films with different shot-level routes through practical interaction, live-action plates, CG, AI and compositing. The invariant was an identifiable city, physical contact and coherent performance.

The production route is a creative choice
A single method across the film would have weakened the result. Live action preserved bodies, gestures and practical contact; CG and AI extended environments and selected scenes. Compositing unified atmosphere, camera scale, focus and grain into the same photographic language.
Snow has to touch something
For the New Year scenes, clean plates and practical snow states separated atmosphere from physical interaction. Stand-in spheres gave performers reliable eyelines and a volume to hold. The final snowman effect was directed around what actors actually touched.
Architecture provides continuity
Seasonal atmosphere changed while SberCity's façades, depth relations and spatial identity remained legible. A late continuity issue involving a fir tree was corrected locally in CG, preserving the assembled panorama rather than rebuilding it.
A final pass across the whole frame
Faces, mask edges, depth, focus, atmospheric particles, image grain and cleanup were reviewed at full resolution. These checks are as important as the visual effect itself: the image has to survive in motion as a single authored shot.
